Participants in the clinical study of LipoGuard conducted by Associate
Professor Dr. N. Charle Morcos, M.D., Ph.D., from University of
California, Irvine,
showed an overall reduction in total cholesterol of 11%.
This study also showed a significant reduction in triglycerides and low
density lipoproteins (LDL – “bad” cholesterol). Triglyceride levels were
reduced by 34% and LDL levels by 10%.
Recent studies on the benefits of lowering cholesterol levels for those
without heart disease have shown a 31% reduction in the risk of
cardiovascular death and a 22% reduction in all causes of mortality! For
those with existing heart disease,the benefits of lowering cholesterol
is a 30% reduction in total mortality, 34% reduction in fatal and
non-fatal heart attacks and 37% reduction in the need for bypass surgery
or angioplasty.
A recent statement released by the American Heart Association noted that
up to two thirds of people diagnosed with heart disease are not taking
necessary steps to lower their cholesterol levels. By not doing so, they
are increasing their risk of a heart attack.
LipoGuard has been proven to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides and
also produce a change in several risk ratios. Significant evidence
showed that LipoGuard produced a decrease of 18% in the LDL/HDL cardiac
risk ratio and a decrease of 19% in the CHOL/HDL cardiac risk ratio.
These changes in risk ratios prove that
LipoGuard has a positive effect in the balance of good and bad fats in
the blood.
These findings illustrate the uniqueness of this product and
its ability to reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease or

Lipoguard was cited in the FDA report on a review of studies researching
the effect of fish oil on cardiovascular health. The FDA included the
study on LipoGuard by Dr. N. Charle Morcos, M.D., Ph.D. The report
showed that not all fish oils are the same, nor are they all effective.
LipoGuard was the ONLY product out of 24 studies reviewed that showed
beneficial results in lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol. The others showed
