SENSITIVE SKIN
Sensitive skins take all the problems of dry skins a few stages further.
This skin can be beautiful, almost translucent at its best, but it’s likely to
suffer at a puff of wind, develop redness and small surface veins, and be
allergic to certain ingredients in products, and it’s another early ager. This
skin often belongs to people who suffer from hay fever, asthma, or other
allergies. Stay away from extremes of weather and the sun as much as possible.
Keep centrally heated and air conditioned rooms humidified and use the
gentlest touch, and the kindest products those specifically formulated for
sensitive skins and without perfume or any ingredients that are likely to
cause allergic reactions. It’s wise to buy products that list ingredients, so
it’s easy to check if there’s something your skin doesn’t agree with.
