1.      What does the name mean?

Toujours La Vie is a French term, which is pronounced “Too-zhure La Vee.”  The name is a toast to life, meaning “Always…to Life.”  Our hope is to look young and youthful for as long as we live, and VIVA’s new skin care line is specifically designed to support this goal.  In America and many other countries, French perfumes, skin care products and names represent quality and elegance.  Toujours is a delightful name with very deep meaning. 

VIVA’s new products are of the highest salon care quality, and designed with the newest ingredient technology to provide healthy, balanced skin, safely and naturally.

2.      What makes the Toujours line so unique and different from others?

The ingredients are the key.  Each product is formulated with ingredients derived from natural plant, fruit, vegetable, and beneficial food sources that have been scientifically purified at the molecular level to provide the most effective and absorptive form of the ingredient. 

Every molecule has a certain orientation or spin direction that enables it to fit into a living cell receptor.  This is known as chirality, which is becoming widely used in the pharmaceutical industry.  The Toujours skin care formulas are chirally correct and contain specific, effective ingredients that have been purified to remove harmful or ineffective components. The skin has receptors that allow molecules to attach and be absorbed into its structure. Toujours products have been formulated to molecularly fit the skin’s receptors.  That is how the skin can respond so quickly and visible results can be achieved so effectively. It is important to be careful about what goes into your skin, and not just what goes on top!

3.      What are the products and how are they applied? 

Revive-Morning Cleanser  This is a true anti-aging formulation. Revive is a minty, wake-up cleanser that deep cleans, decongests pores, and helps exfoliate dead skin cells that have collected on the skin overnight.  This is not a makeup remover…your skin should already have been cleansed of makeup with the Betapure Bar the night before.  The lively pink color comes from the natural beet extract that has its own color therapy to balance the mint effect. 

For general use:  Splash warm water over your face and neck.  Dispense a dime-sized drop of Revive into the palm of your hand and blend with warm water, working up a light lather in your hands.  Smooth over the face and neck with gentle, circular motions for about 1 minute – no scrubbing is necessary.  Thoroughly rinse with warm water. 

Men:  This is an excellent pre-shave cleanser to exfoliate the skin and prepare the beard.  After rinsing, apply the Betapure Bar for shaving. 

For extensive skin peeling activity:  Revive may be left on the skin for 1 to 5 minutes to generate extra exfoliation and skin stimulation.  Thoroughly rinse with warm water.  Leaving Revive on the skin for longer than the suggested time may be harsh on the skin. 

Refresh-Detoxifying Toner:  Refresh provides non-drying, naturally fresh, antioxidant nourishment and pure water moisture for thirsty skin.  Refresh also protects the skin from oxidative damage and negative environmental effects. 

For general use:  Mist Refresh all over the face and neck following cleansing morning and night.  Breathe in the aromatherapy.           

Men:  This makes a great aftershave!  The healing properties in Refresh can soothe the skin, which has actually been microscopically cut by razor blades. 

Teens: Older children may enjoy how the refreshing mist helps them focus their attention during their mid-day studies. 

To refresh during the day:  Mist Refresh onto the skin any time of the day. 

The pleasant aromatherapy helps to lift your spirit and give you a feeling of well being. Refresh may be lightly misted over makeup as well.

Rebuild-Serum Protein Complex:  This is truly a must-have product.  Rebuild is the most luscious, natural skin repair and rejuvenation formula you will ever find. Every drop contributes to the building of healthy new skin cells to make the skin glow with radiance and life.  Rebuild minimizes stress and irritation from exfoliation and promotes a faster recovery and turnover of skin cells.  Rebuild will help young skin keep its youthful resilience longer, and maturing skin will not only look younger and more alive but actually be stronger and healthier.  Rebuild’s natural beige color is the actual color of the nutritious ingredients, which have not been ruined by chemicals or covered over with unnecessary additional colors.

For general use:  After misting the face and neck Refresh and while the skin is still damp, dip the spatula lightly into the jar and pull back a small amount of cream on the tip.  This formula is highly concentrated and a small amount goes a long way.  Dot the cream lightly onto face and neck.  Gently tap with the fingers to spread over the skin.  Do not rub in or use too much. 

For irritated, sunburned or damaged skin:  Make sure skin has been moistened with Refresh, then reapply Rebuild lightly over damaged areas to soothe, heal and protect as it nourishes the wounded skin. 

Men:  Rebuild is essential for repairing damage done to your skin by the razor as it microscopically nicks the skin at the hair shaft.  Reduce bumps and irritation by using a small amount of Rebuild to give you youthful looking skin all day. 

Restore-Betapure Bar:  This is NOT a soap!  Restore is a pure, solid cleanser filled with chirally correct nutrients to gently deep cleanse, protect with rich antioxidants and help the skin produce its own moisture.  This is the cleanser for everyone. Restore is used in the evening to remove impurities and/or makeup accumulated during the day.  However, Restore also may be alternately used instead of Revive in the morning for sensitive or dry skin types. 

For general use:  Splash warm water onto face and neck. Wet the bar in your hands with warm water and work up a light lather.  Gently smooth over face and neck with light, circular motions for about one minute. Scrubbing is not necessary.  Thoroughly rinse with warm water. 

Women: To remove waterproof mascara, add a few drops of olive oil to the lather and gently massage lashes with eyes closed.  Rinse well. 

Men:  This bar is great for shave lather!  Restore not only sets up the beard for a clean shave but the nutritious ingredients also soothe and help heal microscopic cuts. 

Teens and Children:  This is a perfect cleanser to remove the daily impurities and keep young skin healthy and resilient. 

Because of Restore’s purity, the Betapure Bar should be stored in a dry, drainable soap dish if possible, away from heat and continuous moisture to keep the bar from dissolving.

Refine-Evening Moisturizer:  This true anti-aging formulation not only gently exfoliates overnight by loosening dead skin cells, but also decongests pores and reduces visible signs of aging.  Refine helps to strengthen and soften the skin by keeping the collagen fibrils from becoming brittle.  After the overnight refining cycle, you awaken with softer, smoother, more resilient skin, and reduced fine lines and wrinkles.

For general use:  After cleansing with the Betapure Bar and misting with Refresh, dispense a dime-sized drop Refine onto your fingertips and lightly tap onto the cheeks and neck while the skin is still damp.  Gently smooth Refine over entire face and neck, lightly patting the skin with your fingertips.  Over-stimulation is not necessary; let the rich emollients sink into the skin on their own.

4.      Are the products good for all skin types?

6.      How should the products be stored?

Because Toujours does not use chemical preservatives, the products need to be stored properly for a maximum shelf life of the natural ingredients.  The products should be stored in a cool, dry area away from heat and constant moisture.  Keep the bottles and jar tightly closed and the Betapure Bar on a drainable soap dish.

7.      How long will the products last?

With appropriate usage amounts, the Toujours products should last at least 2 months.  Application and frequency of use will vary with different skin types.

8.      Is VIVA planning to expand the Toujours La Vie line?

Yes!  VIVA Marketing Reps can look forward to an eye serum and a lightener/brightener to be added to the line in the immediate future.  Other areas of future expansion may include spa, hair, body, and possibly makeup products of the same superior quality as the main Toujours La Vie daily facial treatment system.
