How Do I Know?
Since young I have been involved with nutritional
supplements. I bought my products off the shelves to begin with.
As usual, I made my decision based on their price. Cheaper the
better because everything else looked the same. Then I switched to
buying directly from MLM companies. They are good companies with
safe products and lots of testimonials. People everywhere like me,
benefited from the products. However in the year 2000, I started
asking for more than just testimonials.
I have been asking questions like,
Q. Are the products subject to clinical trials?
Q. If so are the results published and subject to peer-review?
Q. Is Nutritional Products the same as Nutraceutical Products?
Q. Does the company grow it's own raw ingredients for the products?
Q. Does the company manufacture all of their own products?
Q. Are the products designed tested on animals or humans?
Q. Does the company have their own state of the art research
laboratories?
Q. Does the company have their own full time staff of Scientists and Ph.Ds who design the products?
Q. Are the products patented?
The answers to these question were not to our satisfaction.
In 2001, a friend of mine introduced me to a company called
